Quote: I've been doing computer graphics since before the Internet, I do know what I'm doing (I think) Then you do know that you still have two obverse photos in the post? .

I'll say this is a MS64 pushing MS65. Great looking toner!

nice toning on a high AU - appears the lines showing on the neck and behind the head are from sitting against the cloth bag for awhile - any thoughts

I'm going with MS63+. Are those water spots on the cheek area?

Okay, I edited it once again, as this morning I saw 2 obverses, so back to the drawing board, I re-uploaded the reverse again. Hopefully it works now. ;-)

I'd guess a choice AU, but the pictures don't probably show how the coin looks in hand as far as luster goes and, more importantly, the luster breaks.

A lot of luster is underlying, I should have posted that originally, the photos of a coin this toned are hard to get just right. Thanks for all your opinions and guesses. Grade will get posted after I return from work tonight, along with a few more for you all to try your guesses on.

This one was a shot at a 64 grade and it made it, I purchased it as a basic Unc. dollar from a pile of them at a show. The luster is really hard to show when it's underlying a heavy tone, like this one is, in a photograph. In hand it's a pretty coin, better than my photo shows it to be.
