Just returned from picking this up from the auction last night.

A very nice addition to my 1937 collection, IMO

I really like the Go-To Z/D changeover, Maddog.

They are tough to find! Excellent purchase.

I had placed a few bids last night, but didn't win anything.

Lot's of notes brought very strong money, which is very good news considering how slow the market has been over the past few years.

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone.

The Z/D changeover note gets better looking every time I take it out.
Its so cool to have something no-one else can have ( as long as no-one finds a higher serial number...lol ) , because then I would have the second coolest thing.

This is the first time I buy a Certified Canadian bank note, what do you think?

This thread was in serious need of a "bump"... shoeplier was looking for it... and I think it's a great place to talk cdn banknotes... I still have to wait until the end of March for me to post up the new notes I picked up in the last HA auction... til then I've been saving all my $$ for this upcoming Legacy auction..

Thanks. I really miss this thread and seeing everyone's great collections and recent purchases!

I wasn't sure exactly where to post this, but I guess here will do. This is my 2nd sheet replacement note I've ever found, EKS 5.760M-6.120M:

Post-Your-Paper-Money-Collections.

(Bad lighting but there are more vertical folds throughout)

Out of the 10 $100 bills I withdrew from the bank today, this one is the only one below AU. What *great* luck. Not worth saving for sure but gave me hope! (I always check for replacement notes whenever possible; my nearest success was just 942 short.)

NICE replacement.... too bad about the wear.. but when you find another that's in better condition you can always swap it out if you choose.
