I am totally confused now about it, as I am NOT into notes. Coins are my bag. these 3 notes were part of a collection I bought. Here is the 2nd note 3rd one tomorrow   |

All I can say is WOW!!
I can only wonder what kind of coins you picked up in this collection as well... These notes really are treasures!

at this time I think I will just tuck them away for a while before I decide what to do with them.
I like to find out a lot more about them and then see what to do.
I rather have coins, for example a NFL 1880 in MS 64 or 65, or SP if one can find it. Or a 5 cent NFL 1883H in MS 60 or close. I know, there are a few. Never go wrong with these.

Newfoundland notes seem to be popular in some of the national auctions now. I'm betting if these went to auction (Geoffery Bell) you would get more then book value. If nothing else, have some one check them out. Do you ever make it out to a national show?

As soon as I read this I was certainly VERY impressed... I've seen some of the coins you posted and the notes you posted on this forum... and if you are young I would say this hobby is in good hands... Now go out and get all your friends into the hobby... (just kidding) but I'm certainly glad to hear the youth so well involved in this hobby

shaft, you are right.
how many posts does one need to communicate with other members? Not that it matters all that much.
AG, am collecting since 1977.
Need to take a break now, or slow down. Excitement to post has taken the better of me. Fall is here and nature is calling to go outdoors.

Picked this up at the GB show on Friday Just need the $100 and the $1000 now to complete a set for this year. Will probably get it regraded as I think its better than what it is. The plastic does not show the note well in the picture. Thanks to all the organizers and vendors. Great three days   |
