Thanks for the compliments! Building any nice set really takes patience and time, this one has been slowly building for over a decade. Money certainly doesn't hurt either, but it's very easy to blow good money on bad coins. I'd rather have a crusty VF-30 of a date than a scrubbed AU-58.

Wow, That is an amazing collection. Is it strange that I got goosebumps when I seen the coins? I think I might have a problem.

Wow! That is an amazing collection. I really am envious of such a collection. The thrill of finding each coin, the excitement of buying them and the anticipation to fill all those spots. Almost anyone can do it with common examples, but you have done it the right way. All high quality beautiful examples.

Your eye for nice unmarked coins is superb. great collection. Do you get these from dealers,or auctions?

To answer murty's question, I picked these have from various sources, local coin shows (source of the 1842), Teletrade (where I got the 1843), dealers like JJ Teaparty (they get nice Seated halves off and on, source of the 1860-O) and ebay (source of the 1849) and small coin shops here and there (like the 1876). It would be fun to find a whole bunch at once, but that really doesn't happen. The 1848 date is extremely scarce in nice condition, so I jumped at that one. I would say it's been over a decade just to pick these up, though that can be blamed on the Capped Busts!
