Not sure if I like the slide show idea better than than the coins. Those coins look fantastic but I like that slide show idea much more than some of the other presentations on coins.

Awesome! I'm not into nickels, but I've always liked the high grade War Nickels. Thanks for sharing, now I've got to start building my own set!

Very nice set!

Does it say FS on all of the slabs? It would be interesting to see what they graded each one as or are they all the same grade?

How does yours rank in the registry?

Many thanks to all my CCF friends for your kind comments and acknowledgements ...

I'm pleased to finally complete this 11 coin mini-set ... some of these coins are indeed tough to find in higher MSFS grade.

A few replies to comments/inquiries if I may:

LOL Carl ... and I tend to agree ... the slide show for me turns out to be a compact way to share coins within a thread without multiple photos to scroll through ... but it took me a long time to figure out how to do it.

Hoping you enjoy them as much as I enjoy mine!

That 44-S really pops

Agreed ... and it is my visual favorite of the set ... one of four PCGS Top Pop coins in this set ... and the most expensive as well. Current PCGS price guide for this coin is $2150 ... wowzers ... thrilled that I acquired mine a while ago.

PCGS Pop for the 1944-S MS67FS Jefferson is 27/0 ... I listed all that in the slide show ... and although I personally believe this coin is nearly flawless ... no way PCGS would create the extra value of an MS67+ or MS68 on re-submission.

Did you think I was making this up? Yes ... these are all PCGS certified FS coins with the grades (MS66FS to MS67FS) as stated in my slide show ... did you view it?

The PCGS registry is an open access site ... you can find the Nickelsearcher war silver set somewhere in there ... and report back. Extra credit if you leave me a comment on my PCGS registry set when you find it.

Again ... thanks for the comments on my somewhat esoteric set of USA coins.

David

You know, I was so mesmerized by the coins that are larger than life , that I didn't even see the text at the bottom.

It was in the afternoon and my brain was tired. I need a warning label for that. Maybe I should put it in my profile signature.

Thanks for pointing it out.

Uhhhmmm ... my everlasting gratitude for viewing the set?

How about many kudos for taking the time to hunt down the set though the PCGS site?

Thrilled with all the replies and comments ...

Yeah, I had to go down the list of nickel sets until I found your ID, so it took a little while. I wish there was a way to search via an ID on their site. Your ID isn't the same as this site, but it is close enough that it might have helped, if wild cards could be used, but I knew it was you when I found it.

Great looking set you have there. There was a guy at my local coin show on Sunday that had the 11 pc set in ms-66 fs. I just looked and could only dream as to what they cost. I am sure it wasn't as expensive as I dream but it was nice.

Great set again!
