1cent the 1967 1c in UHC is quite tough to find. I have one in PL-65 UHC, and for years, it was the ONLY one in the ICCS population report. If you ever find one, and no doubt, one or more will be found someday, I would love to see a photo of it...

My list for the next 6 months:

1982 Constitution dollar, coinage dies

That will probably blow my coin budget for the year... so listing 4 other coins is moot.

@t_y: I'll go make some for you, be right back!

...

Back!
But seriously. I'm putting together year sets in the best possible condition for my budget. (Usually under $40 a coin.) Some years are just "iconic" in my mind, they just have character. 1958, 1956, 1937 are characters for me - they stand out somehow, especially 1937, I find.

SPP....I assume you have seen the Constituion dollar in the RCNA auction.....only $7000 or $8000 I think it was (lol)!

As for my list, it is not too long. I would like to get a 2012 mag cent in MS67. Otherwise it is more driven by what interesting things become available rather than what I am actually looking for.....

Excellent topic/question/exercise!

Made me come to the realization ... I do not collect specific Canadian coins and that I have no goals, short-term or long-term for any Canadian coins...

dts...

Funny to see that after five months I've got 4 out of five. I've got the 1925 nickel VF, a 1925 penny VG, a 1889 quarter G and a 1953NSS quarter VG. Only missing the 1926 F6 in my wish list of tht time.

Mintage will only be known once the report is published (March 2013). Until then, lots of speculation and wild guessing.

My OPINION (take it or leave it): more than 2 million of each: 1c, loonie and twoonie will be produced in 2012
