Unless you have some kind of top 100 VAM on them we cant see, I wouldnt think so. Atleast you got them close to melt, you may not have payed tax but with it you probably paid the price of melt. $24.8354 is the rounded silver value for the 1878-1921 silver Morgan dollar on March 14, 2012. It's a great start to a Morgan collection though!

$50 for it. And Canadian bank notes I agree with you now, After looking at it with my loupe I can see wear that would take it from AU - EF easily.
