I agree total garbage on shipping I too ordered minutes after they went on sale and I am waiting forever it seems. By the way the guy in the previous message is one of my customers and he got his coins right from the post office I made a deal to buy coin #5 & 6 from him earlier.

I guess dealers get them first but these shipping delays are getting a little crazy.

With bullion the coins go to foreign dealers first then to Canadian bullion houses. I don't know about NCLT coins but I suspect Master Club members are not as important to the mint as they are portray us to be. Money talks and big deals have priority. The funny part is that Master Club Member sales if combines probably far over shadow any single dealer and that's the problem. They need to treat us as a single entity and not as individual sales. After all dealers cant say anything bad about the mint, but we can talk all the trash we want about coins.

The mint seems to be undergoing some changes for the better and for the worse. Me thinks that profits are the primary motive and will hurt the Mint in the short term if these practices are continued. Case and point Toyota was set to be number one in the world until profits began to over shadow quality. VW took the number one spot. With poor service and constant shipping delay and an overabundance of product the Mint may find people will just loose interest. Baseball and hockey cards are a good example of have a market can be totally obliterated in just a short period of time.

My local Post Office has the bird coin too.

Makes me wonder if the Mint isn't just delaying shipments to push buyers to Canada Post. For example, the Titanic 50 cent coins that I ordered almost 3 months ago has been available from CP in their still available set for more than a month.

I placed an order for the 1/2 oz silver maple leaf forever more than a month ago and I still haven't received it yet. Yet all the dealers have been selling them for awhile now. Makes me want to cancel my order and get it from the dealer.

I almost did exactly that; buy the coin at CP and cancel it with the mint. In fact I bought a glass bee at CP last week and have considered cancelling my mint order.

Gotta wonder if all of the last issue of coins will make it out before the mint releases the new coins that we are not allowed to talk about....

On a completely unrelated topic, the Calgary Stampede starts in 58 days.

So if someone cancels an order for the bumblebee, will the Mint website show "add to cart" again. Not sure how that works.

^^ I'm sure they would give it a week, see how many cancellations there were, then put whatever item that has been sold out. Back up for sale again.

No use trying to cancel. I did that to one of my orders a while ago and they still shipped it two weeks later, making me spend money to send it back. Still waiting for the refund on my credit card...

Their logistics are beyond ridiculous at this point. I have pending items from an order placed almost 3 months ago and 2 "processing" orders for items that are already for sale everywhere else, not to mention the ones that are officially delayed / OOS.

I have sent them 3 e-mails complaining, requesting that items already available be shipped ahead of the rest of the orders and asking for status updates. Only received one reply after two weeks saying that they are unable to modify web orders. Total fail!

I'm hoping this doesn't get me kicked out but I think we can talk about the coins and we can post pictures of them .... We just can't borrow the pictures from the mints web site.
But I would think as soon as the big dealers post them they are fair game .
But........ I guess I will never know cause I'm afraid of THE MAN
