the 2001-2007 color maple is considered as special edition of bullion maple leaf, they have the same face value and finish, with 9999 and "Fine Silver 1 OZ" text.

I like both.

Because the 2008 has the RCM Logo?

I have seen several instances where the 2009 was more than the 2008. I think the prices of these will fluctuate depending on the sellers and dates of posting.

It's not a big deal to see higher price: highest "buy it now" for 2009 is 300$ while lowest 2008 is $170 ;)
Thanks for all replies.

first in the series usually costs more
not a fan of colour and gluing rocks on coins though.

Just for fun, I looked at the listing for $300. The seller is from BC and hopefully not reading this... but, apparently there is a good crop on the left coast this spring.

Most of his other NCLT listings are similarly over priced. Some of them are literally hundreds of dollars more than current market prices.

I guess the strategy is you throw up a crazy number and hope you get a sucker.

I loved the first 2008 crystal raindrop and the one from 2010, as well. But the 2001-2007 series was great, too. Can't say I like one more than the other. I have the 2001 and 2003 colored maples, also, and would not part with them.

I would like to collect either the crystal raindrop or crystal snowflake.

Which of should hold their value in long term?

Thanks

I have the 2009 raindrop coin and it's gorgeous. The market price is around $180. It should maintain its value but I'm not sure it will appreciate very much, maybe 10%. I also have the 2007 blue and iridescent snowflake coins and they are very pretty.

I would say - Crystal Raindrop
Specially the years 2008, 2009 and may be 2012 - very beautiful coins.
2009 - my favourite here...still need to get 2010, 2011 (they available for issue price), and for sure will not miss the new one (if the series will be continued).

I like the 2010 water lily with 3 crystals. But I'd collect the raindrops before the snow flakes.
