Wow...how lucky is that! Most "unsearched wheat" lots don't produce the key of the whole series--congrats!

So I am very new to the grading train of thought...But what does "Details" mean in a coin grade such as this awesome find.

That is so cool. Did you go back to antique store? If so, did you find anything else?

The scratch on the coin is seen as damage. So while the coin is technically a VF, the scratch is distracting enough to warrant mention.

Thanks all for the comments! I am still on cloud nine, In the ten pound bag I also found many in the teens but it was all mute compared to the key. I bought more from the same place but was not so lucky on the other buys. I had the coin sent to NGC through a local dealer that I have bought from before, it took a long time to get back, but the wait was worth it. He had them do their conservation service to it, because there was a spot of some glue? or something on the reverse. When He got the coin back he drove to my work and dropped it off for me, very nice guy! Thanks again for the comments, glad I was privileged to find such a treasure....

Thats an awesome find man people can only dream of finding that cent. Who cares what its worth just the bragging rights of getting it for almost nothing.
