2 silver maple wolves for $54 Each after shipping

That is a decent price for the wolf SML.

I'm sure you guys all know this but there are some made in the USA imitations out there, so buyer beware. For example ebay Item number: 180862230182.

This seller is clear that the coin is not RCM issue but some sellers are not so forthright.

yeah, cc-ottawa I've seen alot of the fake wolf's on ebay.
I actually got my 2 on ebay but from a 1500+ power seller that has a picture of both front/back of the coin and clearly list Royal Canadian Mint silver maple in the description.
I got lucky messaging him to combine shipping and give me a package price.

Unless I'm mistaken, a new wildlife coin for the series should be coming out shortly, is that right?

It's definitely a reasonable price, and they only have 2 left in stock.

yeah, it beat looking around for the individual coins, and the tax exempt makes it a very fair price. I wish I had the extra cashlying around

The next wildlife coin shouldn't be out until around September.

I remember this lot was sold-out before. Now it is back. Probably there will be more again once these two are sold. I guess this provides them a means to test the market and adjust the price, accordingly.

I just got the cougar and moose last week but passed on their wolf and grizzly in hope of getting some that aren't toned.

But if anyone orders from CA, get the Titanic privy too for 49.95. It is very nice (much better than the pictures I've seen) and a decent price.

This is kind of off topic, and probably a dumb question, so forgive me, but why are they called wildlife "maples"? Is it simply because these wildlife bullion coins are similar to the 1oz silver maples so they're kind of grouped together?

I think it's as simple as that these are bullion coins produced by the RCM and available through the same methods as the SMLs and produced to the same specs.
