The woman responsible for ordering coins at my bank, TDBanknorth, returned my call a few minutes ago. She said her bank was "not participating" in the Presidential dollar program. When I suggested that there are many branches in the area and that the $1000 minimum order didn't seem at all daunting if shared among them, she said that it wasn't the individual branches that had made the decision, but it was made at the Corporate level. I responded that I was sorry to hear that my bank was not offering this service for its customers. Fortunately, I did find a local bank (Enterprise Bank & Trust) that allowed me to reserve some rolls. I may also be looking to swap for a roll of D's.

I have a line on getting the rolls in Indiana next week. I assume they will only be P mint. I'll trade some. HOPING (wish, wish) to get 8 rolls.
Oh, yeh, who's the guy in Indiana I promised some to? PM me again, please.

So is anyone planning on getting a Dansco Album for theirs? I found another album that looks nice as well. I guess the bad thing with the album is you cannot see the new cool edge of the coin

Tim, I've seen this album., and I like this one. However, opened it doesn't appear to have the history pages of the Presidents as the Dansco and it also doesn't allow a three sided view of the coin. I did find this: https://goccf.com/t/11623#94912and since I already have the Dansco I could make copies and laminate the pages and add to a binder with these holders.

Tpatna, Is that a Dansco Album?
If not, does anybody have a picture of what the Dansco Album will look like?
I asked my coin dealer to order one, sight unseen, and I'd like to see what I'm buying.

Tpatna's album is like one of those I am sitting on from my dealer. It is much more attractive than the Whitman (also blue). I have not seen a Dansco as they are ALWAYS the last one to get albums ready for new coins. As we say here in Indiana, they will be a day late and a dollar short!!!

Not always bad, as around here I'm going to be 'a dollar short' as well. Nope! Just can't see starting a collection of this particular series of coins. I've decided to back off and refrain from starting this series as it seem to be a wild hair from Washington to shine a light on politics and politicians. I will have none of it in this house. Just a wild thought, but after the president's ladies, what will be next? Their children, or their pets? Sounds like a nother good money maker for the federal government mint to me!
