Very nice! Quote: I think I'll start one of those. My local bullion shop always has plenty of those in the junk silver bin... I may end up doing likewise as I stack bullion when the silver market is cooled to the sub-30 range and I have the spare cash. I picked up 2 of the 35 already. Ben Franklin is the MAN!

Looks good. I would do it the same way, and keep the keep the ones that your father gave you.

With silver hanging out under 28, I cruised on over to my bullion store and picked up 15 of this set. The lowest mintage Franklins I found were a 53S and 58.
I didn't have time to search through his entire pile, so ended up with those 15. Not too shabby.

I sold my set a while back, needed the $$$ when I was unemployed, now I think I shouldn't have.
This give me the excuse to start another set, perhaps on the low end side.

CONGRADULATIONSSSSSSSSSSSS. Now here is a horrible thought. Imagine for a moment what you would or could possibly have today if you never stopped collecting back in the 70's. Possibly a collection worth millions.
