People will pay moon money for the finest known. A 66 seems like a low grade for the finest known, even though it is a modern business strike.

For 2010's 66's are top pops. Only the mint set satins have graded higher.

Hard to believe that's a $550 coin! I sold my 99 WAM for that. What would you rather have, a 2010 in 66 or a 1999 WAM in 65? ....it's a no brainer for me. LOLOLOL

People have all sorts of almost anything slabbed. For some reason they think that people will pay fantastic prices for any coin in a slab. One more reason for faked ones from China. I almost wonder if a washer was sent in to a TPGS it would come back graded and slabbed.

I think I am missing the point of this thread...? 2010-P MS66 Business strike right? Why is this one only 17 bucks then?

But all kidding aside, I am sitting here perplexed with facial contortions, then I see the ratchet... I almost snorted I laughed so hard!

Because it's graded by NGC. For the PCGS coin, it's the highest graded, for the NGC, they have graded some at 67.
Some of the members of the PCGS registry sets are some serious folks that will lay down some serious coin when it comes to top pop coins.

Ahhhhh I didn't realize. I got it now! What do you think the chances of PCGS grading another higher is?
As I'm sure we all know there's another out there in a roll somewhere being hoarded.

Possible but not that likely. Most of those that are going to be slabbed probably have been by now. Theyll probably be hesitant to change their top pop for a border line coin as well. Itll take a real strong one for that grade
