Did the last Grosbeak sold out quickly? I would like to see the actual coin in person or on youtube first before ordering it ...

The description of this new Grosbeak says "Painting over engraved cupronickel", if the Grosbeak is actually engraved then I would get one as well.

Grrrr.....Canada only for the special Uncirculated sets. I would ask my Canadian uncle to order them for me as he always gladly does, but he's not a Master's Club member, so he has to wait (err..I have to wait) for the regular sales opening date (I'm not clear on when that is). I wonder how the RCM decides which of its issues are to be Canada only?

I'm a long time silver dollar collector (first ever purchase as a kid was one of the silver dollars), so had to get that to maintain my series.
Ordered a Grosbeak, but haven't received the previous bird ordered earlier in the year.

I expect the Grey Cup circulated to be offered in 5 packs for $5, so I'm not sure the Special Edition set makes any sense.

I subscribe to the 20 for $20, and received the Farewell to the Penny last week.

yea. I'm not that interested this time around. there were so many dragon coins last year...it was overkill...so I'm turned off by seeing all these snake coins for the year of the snake. the sports-related coins also don't seem to do well.

i liked the last bird coin, but this one doesn't seem that nice-looking. the $20 silver coin is definitely better than the last queen design though.

You will be able to see it when the coin goes live for non-MC clients.

in the mean time, the bird looks like this, to give you a vague ides. It will be looking more towards "you" in the coin image.

I'm confused about the grosbeak, didn't get come out 2 months ago at the post office? What makes it 'special' for the MC members now?

The Rose-breasted Grosbeak was issued in April. The Evening Grosbeak is new this month. Two different coins.
