It would be hard to continue an "annual" set if there were no W's minted for two of the years since it was started...

SO they skipped 2011...

If you are asking what the price of the set is the Mint hasn't set the price yet....spot silver could skyrocket another .50 in the next week and they might have to add $5 to the price

If you buy uncirculated mint sets and the burnished silver dollars, This looks like a set to pass on

I think that I'll pass on this set also. I don't see where there is anything included that I don't have from other mint products. I figure that I just saved myself at least $70 that I can put to use elsewhere to help my collection.

That is unless the mint decides to give a discount on the ASE, then I probably will jump. I don't think that that will happen.

Nice little Dollar set. As long as it is not
overpriced, this might be one I buy this year.

At least it's an uncirculated set, so they couldn't put the S-proof or reverse proof in it. With the way the mint's been doing business lately, I wouldn't put it past them.

LOL I'm surprised the thread lasted this long with out and S proof reference. Just wait till all the returned ones end up in the set by "mistake" lol

SUMMARY: The United States Mint is announcing a price of $54.95 for the 2012 Annual Uncirculated
Dollar Coin Set. This set contains the following uncirculated coins: four Presidential $1 Coins, one
Native American $1 Coin, and one American Eagle Silver Coin.

From the Federal Register, pending publication

So, that puts the ASE at 49.95 is you just spend the uncirculated dollars.

Four coin 2012 Pres. $1 set is $9.95

2012 W ASE is $45.95 (as of today anyway)

So the $54.95 seems appropriate and has a Sac $1 thrown in
