Im not sure why China seems to be the source of known counterfeiting, but it sucks that everyone has to be careful when they buy expensive things (including gold and silver) so that they are not buying fakes.
I wonder how Chinese investors feel about their own countrymen doing this to the world. What if it was Americans doing this to the rest of the world?
It sucks how just a few counterfeiters can ruin a whole countries reputation, I dont think they deserve such a bad reputation, but why are they always the ones counterfeiting everything? why not India? they have the most people in the world..

I feel like counterfeiting is one of those evils that is too hard to control. No matter how hard or strict a government is, people will always find a way to do it.

I'm not surprised. Since N Korea already has a printing press thats better then ours. And they've been shooting Super Hundreds for a long time. As long as the Mints continue to get their materials from another country, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard, as long as they have a quality printing press. From what I've heard, the Super Hundreds are better quality then ours, since they press is better. I wouldn't be surprised if they're moving train loads of it through china.

Maybe those illegal counterfeiting presses should have an "accident" of some kind? A very bad and nasty one. Where's Sam Fisher when we need him? lol

Good luck trying to get someone into NK. It is retarded though that we outsource part of our money making. If we wanted it to actually be a secret wed have to do it all our self

I bought a coin from Hong Kong and it is genuine  I had my doubts but the coin I received matches the pic's on the pcgs site perfectly. i think I got it at good price because of the fear of buying from China, Hay ya gotta gamble sometimes  |

Not much new news on this, they have been doing this from silver dollars to you name it. They probably could figure out a way to make a counterfeit president too.
