Sounds reasonable and CP keeps 20% margin in this markup.

I have heard as well that this is the only coin CP doesn't get discounted. That's why they are $25 there

Canada Post sells mint products for a higher price than the RCM does? That's interesting.

Australia Post is a defacto agent for the the RAM, and as far as I know, sells RAM products at RAM prices.

CP only markup this $20 for $20 seriies and have the same price as RCM for the other NCLT coins.

The fourth choice should be WHO Cares. Dealers have to make something. It either has to be through a wholesale price ( just as all other retailers) or through a mark up if paying the full mint price.

There is probably a law against the mint selling below face value.

The fact of discount (non)existance does not depend on our opinion.
And there's no discount, at least for CanadaPost.

Exactly. Why is this a poll? The answer is No.

Might as well have a poll asking if the Earth is round or if the Leafs suck. There is only one answer.

The Leafs suck.

Of course there is no discount, it is worth $20. If you sold it to the dealers for $15, then every sane dealer would buy as many as they could and cash them in.

I've heard somewhere that they get discounts for coins worth more than the actual face value of the coin ... Might have been a false saying :)

The roundness of the Earth is more in question than the non-suckiness of the Leafs.

The Earth is an oblate spheroid.
The Leafs suck.

See?

Rest in Peace

"As far as I know, coin dealers (including CP) usually have 15% - 25% margin on the issue price for NCLT."

If I remember correctly, when the first $20 for $20 came out... Canada Post's price was $25 each....suggesting that they did NOT get a discount on the $20 price.
