Really lucky! I would be back testing him out to see if he has any more. I got a few 50's nickles in change a few years ago and I went back and ask the cashier to change a dollar into nickles and dimes. She said Oh your lucky someone paid with a roll of nickels. I was only able to get 11 more out of all her nickels but they were all silver and in good shape. Never know!

I found a 1959 silver quarter, 3 silver dimes, and 3 War Nickels in change over the past month. Out here in the country, you can find amazing things in change!

There is definitely silver being set free by unknowing individuals (thank you whoever you are). I just stopped by the bank in Walmart on Wednesday to see if they had any half dollars. I'm working on a circulated Kennedy dansco album. The teller only had five in her drawer and I said yes I'll take them. A good score for me as two were hole fillers and two were upgrades. One hole filler was 1964-D. I now have one 90% and 3 40% from my favorite teller's drawer.

I've gotten a 1964 quarter and a 1949 dime in change several years ago.

A few weeks ago, a customer was trying to use our copy machine which charges ten cents a copy. He came over to me complaining that the copier would not take his quarter. I went over to the copier. He deposited the quarter and it went straight to the coin return.

I took it out, looked at it - a 1964 Quarter - took another quarter out of my pocket and traded him for it saying, "This one should work."

Wouldn't you know. It did. That was one expensive copy for him.
