I average probably 20-30 oz/month, mostly through Provident Metals, they beat out almost everyone in price, and recently lowered shipping costs by about half. I purchase mostly ASE's and art rounds.

From online sites,Free shipping Bullion Bars/Bullion Coins or Graded 70PF that are Art Silver Coins or Roosevelts, never 70PF Eagles Grading Company's Grade to many 70PF Eagles..Most do not like Roosevelt's I do,,NGC 70PF Roosevelt's is around 1500 give or take 100 or so 2000 thur 2010.

I trade out 10% to 30% from every dollar I have in Bullion.Sometimes more but always 10%-30% of every dollar.I do not invest in how many oz but more on percent's %,,out of each Dollar.

So say a guy or lady has $100 bucks, take no less then 10%,,$10 out to $30 out..A good way to invest is take care of basic first always,1.Bills/Food-2.Funny stuff-3.Invest the rest in Bullion as a way to save and hold that saving for no less then 30 years for silver.I got bars at first for my art work at 20,am now about 40.Buy on dip really only, watch the market everyday.Cosmos

I got a headache from reading that...

I average around 20 - 40 oz a month of rounds. Have started
buying fractional gold as well, do not want all of my eggs in one basket, so to speak.

Maples now have a 1/20 GML for under $90.00 dollars.

Changes annually.

I think so far I bought about 80 plus oz of silver, all numismatic coins or semi numismatic coins, so not a lot?

buying straight bullion gold and silver is very bad policy right now, every month. It is a sinking hole for an investor, even long long long term.

However, if you are buying numis, I dont think thats bad. I mean who can resist buying proof eagles, or colored Somalian elephants or proof silver canadian animal coins... I mean there are lots of goodies out there to get.

But yea, stay away from stacking for now because averaging lower is going to bust your savings.

I sure as heck am not buying silver as an investment right now. The Royal Mint is releasing a £20 silver coin next month which I will buy but that's because it will make a nice addition to my collection, not as an investment.

I haven't bought any in the past 2 months. Thinking about selling a few ozs today as I think we'll be buying in the mid teens by Christmas. I've got about 20 ozs to sell that was bought in the $18s. Probably be going to the LCS today.
