Putting it in your pocket would not be cheating. I don't think that people realize how long it would have to stay in your pocket day in and day out.

If you're going for a low ball set its not cheating exactly but it takes the fun out of it. Thats a great looking one. I could see that as someones pocket piece at some point and their motor carriage key scratched it.

This is probably the coolest set I have seen. I wish I had the money to do that

Ahhhh ... you are too kind HONDO ... do know that I value the acknowledgement of whatever limited influence my contributions have made towards your rapid growth in this tremendous set of USA history. That said ... please take a well deserved bow for what you are accomplishing with your growing set and body of knowledge. David

Hello folks, wanted to share a few updates! Since I could not find a date on my previously posted Booker T Washington commemorative half dollar, I decided to pull the trigger on this coin, found on ebay. I actually am really enjoying it, especially the reverse: Also purchased this California from forum member and one of the resident circulated commem experts, nickelsearcher. It was purchased in an ANACS F12 slab, and it has since been removed: If you notice he writing between the two labels, I purchased this F12 coin on 12/12/12 and thought it deserved commemoration! Hope you guys enjoy these coins. I sure do.

Very nice additions to your set -- you're making very good progress in a short amount of time!
Noted the assistance of a fellow CCF'er - that's one of the great things about this community!
Good look with your continued pursuit! I look forward to seeing its progress.

I love these coins. Personally I'm drawn to a well worn coin over a shiny new one. I've even got a Sesquicentennial in lower condition than the one presented. Maybe one of these days I'll dig it out and share :P
Keep up the good work, it's a fantastic collection!
EDIT: It's hard to spell typing with one hand haha

Ok, I moved my pics into a photobucket album... Why did all the photos disappear? Anything I can do to fix it? Could I just put them back where they were?

If you moved where the pictures are stored, the links will be broken. You would have to edit the posts with the new picture location info.

Ouch on the photos ... sorry HONDO.
I've always posted photos from my own computer directly to the CCF ... suppose in that way (not sure) they are saved in the CCF server somehow ...
You will note that I stopped showing my PhotoBucket 'slideshows' when they made their recent changes ... I did not have the time or energy to update the links.
If you use an outside link ... and change it ... then your photos no longer work here.
Not sure how to advise you going forward ... hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me can help.

It's a bummer... But, I will fix it. I enjoy sharing these coins too much to quit.
