Wash and wear for coins.

Confident that you will recover.

Whatever you do, don't call a government agency for help. They'll only make it worse.

Once, I made a HUGE quantity of hot tea. I poured the freshly brewed, piping hot tea into a glass pitcher. I decided to flavor the tea with frozen lemonade concentrate. Already know where this is going? When the clump of frozen lemonade hit the bottom of the glass pitcher, CAAAAAAABLEWY. The whole bottom of the glass pitcher blew out and approximately 3/4 of a gallon of hot, sweetened with lemonade concentrate tea went everywhere including all nooks and crannies in places only the cockroaches could go. No coins ruined and I never told the (ex)wife.

And you have fresh 2x2's for all of the affected coins. It could be a good thing. I will try to be positive about it the next time I spill something on a coin (probably not).

Ugh!

I've doused my desk/keyboard in liquids plenty of times - the latest was the worst... a full glass of milk. Bleah!

Good luck with the cleanup. Maybe you should put some peppermint schnapps in that hot chocolate. It would make you feel better...

I have a token for situations like that. Things had gotten so bad for me, someone gave it to me to remind me that things always get better.

Ooh, do I ever feel for you. I've been known to be a clumsy oaf and drench all sorts of things that shouldn't be drenched. I'm glad the recovery went well and your blood pressure has returned to normal.

Bleah! Smokerider, I'm such a klutz that in college I used to tape a clear plastic bag to the top of my laptop lest some liquids end up inside. At least nothing was damaged but some cardboard!
