I'm hoping I find one of these in circulation.

Me too! Not holding my breath though.

I agree with jbuck and everyone who's complaining about these gems not being around at the beginning of the series. Really stinks for existing albums and having a standardized set across the years of production. I'm sure folks will come up with creative solutions and/or the album companies will gradually release albums that include these and/or replacement pages.

It's somewhat like Apple changing up the 30-pin cable they've been using for years. Accessory companies can cash in. Or at least, make a little money.

I dont get that either. If they are going to have the S why not add it into the mint and silver sets as well?

They will probably do that this year.

I don't think you will see a silver version though, there is no authorization in the law for an Unc silver coin, just unc and clad proofs and silver proofs. It would take new legislation to strike silver business strikes.

They could have added the S-coins to the ATB Quarters Circulating Coin Set.
This would have been ideal.

I am not regularly seeing the P & D coins in circulation, so I do no expect to find an S any time soon.

Eh, it's not THAT bad guys. Yeah they farted around and didn't think of this until two years into the program. Regardless, I like them and am all for them continuing with it. Just have to do a generic quarter Dansco.

At the very least IF they are going to keep it going I hope that they will start including them in the mint sets

Yeah I am curious if this is going to be an every year type of thing or just done for a few years. If they will be doing it every year then I will simply add a blank quarter page to my Dansco to hold the S quarters, but if it is not going to be every year I don't really want a page with only a few quarters in it. Hmm...

I like the idea of using the "S" mint marks but it would be nice to have it for all regular circulating coins and not just the quarters.

I bought a blank Quarters Dansco and in the first 3 pages I put all the 2005 to 2010 Satins. There are a few holes left open on the third page.
The last page is just the S mints. I will be good with this setup for years to come and if it goes too long, I could either move the S mints to the end of the third page, or just add another blank page.

Works well.

Just wait, now that they realize we will buy rolls and bags of S mint quarters, how long do you think it will be before they realize that we will buy rolls and bags of W mint quarters too. (And then get permission to put a press in the NO museum, and CC museum, etc and sell bags and rolls of O, C, CC,and D for Dahlonega quarters. Have to do something about the Dahlonega though to differentiate them from the Denvers Da maybe?) that last part is a joke but I wouldn't put the W idea past them.

For those who get a P,D,S roll of the ATB Quarters, the Mint announced the price for a set of all three at $46.95, or $15.65 per roll. The single roll price is $18.95, and the 2 roll set (P&D) is $16.48 per roll.
I've been buying a roll of all three, so this is a little cheaper.
