Wow...that one is strikingly different to my ancients! I was not aware of the Homerite/Himyarite kingdom--Imagine all the civilizations that are completely forgotten? I feel like I learned something.

Late to this thread. Didn't understand and couldn't pronounce the title so stayed away Awesome looking coin, the reverse is in tremendious condition, I expect to be educated when you have it in hand

Out of curiosity what are they asking? can you provide a link? I looked for a decent one, and found only a few weak ones. I did find the 6 grammer with the owl reverse but it was like $750, all the money!

Its here ($95US): http://www.vcoins.com/en/stores/eph...Default.aspxMmmmm, awkward, if the above listing is active and the coin exists I'd be a bit worried, I thought they were the same actual coin. Look at the reverse flan damage on both coins together.

Yea thats the SAME coin. Thats where Mr. Eng bought it, I would assume he is either a) reusing a stock photo. Or b) the coin is not available and the store is slow to remove it. I belive it being a fake is very unlikley. Eng studied it as well as my self and the coin is struck for sure. I think I can chop this up to sloppy online sales.

Very sloppy indeed though not the first time I've seen a sold coin remain on Vcoins for a while. Odd its remained for two weeks though. I was considering putting an offer in for it.

Beautiful coin, hard to find as well. The Himyarite kingdom (Arabia Felix) is fascinating.
