Sounds like he did his best to make things right though, most people wont go to such trouble.

I'm glad it worked out. I was hoping you would find something else and he would deal on it. Make sure to update one more time when you have coin in hand.

The man sounds sincere and respectful. It would dissipate the frustration and worry I might be feeling in your shoes. Wouldn't it be nice if all business transactions contained such accomodation and the willingness to give you something extra for what you've gone through? I'm glad this is working out for you.

When someone handles a mistake like this, I definitely forget troubles I have had with them. I find future tranaactions are sometimes better also.

That is much more like it. The story is very believable I had a very similar experience with Steven Album Coins....but they caught the problem before they charged my credit card.

I tried to purchase something from DORC and he (Brian) was on the road at a coin show and could not place his hands on the coin I was inquiring about. We exchanged emails a few times but he took forever to get back to me when the show was over. I found a similar coin elsewhere. He really needs a couple hands in the kitchen or he is going to lose (more) business.

I hate to be so negative, but ........It had been sold since August? Sounds like he could have been hoping to replace that coin at those shows using your money to do so. To charge a cc without verifying he actually had the item is wrong. If he won't hire any help, and is gone from the office for so long, he really needs to decide if he's going to do shows or sell by website. But I'm glad it worked out o.k. for you.

You might copy and paste this topic and send it to him. He's a sharp businessman, he'll realize that his errors are being witnessed by quite a few people and he may act on hiring another person... You may receive preferred treatment for being so thoughtful.
Good luck and can't wait to see coin! I love Seated Libertys.

Agreeing with Kelly. Even if he only hires someone "on spec" as needed, I guarantee it would make his life easier.
