have you seen this error? (1999 CENT/DIME MULE) its just like this but the coin bears the reverse of both a dime and a cent....

Your description indicated that coin had two different metals ? that is impossible ,,not to mention that it is also impossible for the reverse die to fit the machines in the holder for the obverse die they are different sizes.

I hope you can get your pictures up on the forum ,,you can download from your computer as long as the file size is below 100KB ,, just take the picture size it to below 100KB and follow the prompts after clicking the camera Icon.

thank you very much for uploading the pics for me sir Tim....
the coin was aligned to a real Roosevelt dime and as you can see they are of the same size...could this be a Magicians coin or the coin is real?
the coin is just a little bit thinner than the Roosevelt dime... thanx! thanx!

I agree. After looking at the pics, it seems to be a novelty coin. I am sure more people will chime in with their opinions as well

This looks to me like two different coins which have been modified to fit together, thus making a novelty (or magician's) coin. However, there are far more expert opinions around than mine!

I have one exactly like it. You are missing the other half of the coin. The obverse is hollowed out and the piece that you have fits into it. If I can find where I put it I will post a picture.

It is definately a novelty, if it was a true mule, it wouldn't be bi-metal, and the reeding would be on the whole circumference, not just half.

Looks like Magician's coin. Just to make sure, visit your local coin shop & get their take.
