Quote: hopefully they change there mind on next years box even if I wanted have the full set of 2014 O Canada, I would buy now an empty wooden box and then will buy the coins one-by-one. No complaints on the free sub box, but the huge delay in box delivery (4 months) kills the joy to have subscription (when the coins available everywhere).

I'm still waiting on the 11th and 12th coin, only after having received the box just a few weeks ago. I just received the Orca yesterday.

Got my box set today. Not disappointed at all, very happy with this purchase. Surprise, surprise the wooden display case is made in Canada. Surprising because they didn't out source a free product. Let's face it they could've saved money by paying a third world country to make them instead.
The quality of the coins are very good but I didn't realize these coins had a matte proof finish. I would have preferred the normal proof finish. But still very pleased over all.

I'm going to sell my box with 3 of the coins. I don't want the RC MP, Niagara Falls or the lake coin. I didn't want the hockey coin as well but I gave that one to my brother Not sure what I will get for them but I have no room for boxs Some f15 and the one oz. Oh Canada boxs as well.

Yeah, the one thing I don't like about the 2013 set is the COAs are hidden underneath and move freely...wouldn't be so bad if they were held in place. Still an amazing set...love mine!

Is it paper or plastic the box? I like the design, however, my concern is the durability of the box. Will it look as nice in ten or twenty years, your opinion? I like how the COA's are held in place. I think it's a great idea if its a gift for child or to someone living outside of our country. It's true representation of Canada . Thanks for taking the time to share your collection.

Paper and plastic, both I guess. I'm not an expert in materials.
I love the design too, the COA's fit well and the coins are not very small so you can appreciate them easily.
I don't see why it would be a problem with the box in the future.
