Thanks for the help folks! I paid $26 for it out of a junk bin :) I was guessing it was worth around $100.

Semi-key date for the series ... great purchase for your price at melt value.

Around $90 I also found one of these not too long ago, for $35, but mine appeared to be cleaned and has some rim dings.....

Nice find! I would appraise this at around $125.

My rough estimate for a 1921 peace has always been ~$100 for a nice circulated coin, which this one is. Seen them go higher and lower.

I would grade it around XF. 21s are notorious for soft strikes. Believe it or not some coins came right off the dies looking like yours. 21s are graded all by themselves. You can't use the same standards as the rest of the series.

Not to be too picky, but the coin should grade VF. There is real wear on the hair rather than softness of strike.

So everyone agrees on VF? The coin looks better than the scan shows.. as I had to scan it on a flatbed scanner due to not having a good enough camera. Thanks for everyone's replies

I agree there is real wear, but that is why I said XF and not MS or AU. Remember that on the reverse we would have 60 percent of the feather detail gone, "except for the delineation of the edges of the rows of feather" On the obv we would have hair strands blended.
Do we see this on this coin? Yes. Does the typical MS 21 come with mushy/blended strands of hair and missing feather detail? Yes. All in all XF40.

And remember it is the amount of wear after the strike that is considered when grading. Not the appearance.
