I'd choose the one in the slab as these are faked and I have seen some very good fakes

With that said, the asking price is almost $1000 higher than the check I'd write for it (as if!). Further, I'd expect to get a 64RB for less than $2000.
Well, if I am being totally honest, the 1909-S VDB I want occupying the hole in my Dansco will come from VF-EF territory.

Although, the one that will probably occupy that hole is more likely to be VG-F.

I'd have to sell a kidney to play in this sandbox.

I am hoping I will not have to go that far.

Maybe AG-G is more realistic.

Coin #1, MS-64RB... better looking coin in my opinion.. the other one has a bit of woodgrain which is not the best looking if I was buying it, no#1 has better looking 'wheats' and better strike.

Not that it makes any difference, I couldn't afford either one.

Personally, I would not buy either coin unless I was able to see them in person. As we all know, it is very easy to make any coin look better in the picture than it really is.

The VDB on the second one must be awful weak. I do not see it in the pic.

Coin 1. Eye appeal all the way, otherwise I wouldn't be happy.

Coin #2 is unappealing IMO.
I'd be selling too.

Eye appeal over numerical grade so Coin #1. $2,000-$2,250 is about ballpark for the coin.

The first link by far. I couldn't even make out the 'VDB' on the reverse of the second one.
