As long as there are stupid people with hundreds of dollars of expendable cash, there will be people lined up to gladly take it from them.

if we were to believe the coins have been in a roll for that long of time, then the blazing almost red coins on the end of the rolls should be a lot darker in colour..imo.

Would love to know what the other 48 coins in the roll are.

If they're in keeping with what appears to be the ethical level of the seller, they're probably centimos/centavos from somewhere in Central America or South America, fractional copper-plated rounds, copper-plated washers or recent mintage clad pennies (whichever costs least).

That guy has had some very pricey rolls, with great ends. (1909S BU, 1931S AU, $2.50 gold, etc.)
So far the feedback on him has been positive, but nothing great for the non-end coins.
My question would be, where in the heck do these guys get the old roll paper from? Heck, get an old faded FRB San Francisco coin roll, fill it with $200 worth of coins and sell it for $800. I guess it would make sense to pay even $10 a roll for the authentic looking paper.

let's be honest here, I know if I came across some old estate rolls, with a gold coin showing on the end, and it truely was sealed. I would tear into it real quick. there is no way the seller could sleep at night if the buyer posted that he found 12 more gold coins in that roll. just sayin.. imo.

I read the feedback for one of the rolls. The buyer put a "collector's dream roll". I really can't see it being worth as much as he paid, but he was happy. When I bid on an expensive roll like this, I bid on the end coins. If there is a 1909s on the end, I bid up to what just a plain 1909s is worth.
