The 5oz silver maple is listed as "phone only" on the mint site. I sure hope this means that remaining quantities are low. I'm glad I added this one to my order. I think this is going to be an awesome looking coin.

A friend of mine planned to order 2 x 5oz coin next weeks so I emailed him as soon as I saw latest posts here. He waited about 30 minutes on the line and a stock rep finally told him they only had 2 left. He grabbed both so let's see if they really change the status soon or if anyone else is able to order some!

Even if it is sold out at the Mint, I'm sure the dealers and Canada Post will have some. Just wait and see.
I ordered one only, I think it will look really nice beside my fractional set.

so they only set out a certain amount for MC release? Any idea how many?
I'm assuming this coin will be available at the boutiques as well?

I'm not sure if they allocate a certain number to MC members, but they have to send them to dealers around the world. Every dealer will have these, I just don't know for how long and for how much.

anybody know when we will see the rest of the coins for the 1oz silver animal O-Canada subsciption? So far only the beaver has been released.

The 5 coin 1oz O'Canada series is supposed to be release 'bi-monthly'. (as per my rep)

I dislike the fact that they are essentially coopting the Wildlife series to sell 2.5x marked up continuations.
