Doobi you are a little too paranoid. Most people are honest. Relax a little.

Quote: Doobi you are a little too paranoid. Most people are honest. Relax a little. Are you sure. What proportion of the public would you say is dishonest? 1 in 10 1 in 100 1 in 1,000 Ask most of the people who sell on ebay to ship something without a tracking number. Won't happen. Ask a lot of the US sellers to ship to Canada. Won't happen. I can hardly find someone in the US to ship me coins. I have ships to a US address and then transship. So am I really paranoid or are you uninformed? If you leave yourself open to attack you make yourself a target. Getting far to serious now. I'm just saying be careful and about 1 in 80 of my transactions are fraudulent or go bad resulting in a loss. I don't ship anything over $20 without tracking.

That's great that you can take a risk on unopened boxes, Dooby. I kind of prefer to see what I'm buying. In hand is ideal but good pics with various angles helps. Guess I'm a bit fussy; wouldn't hurt to take more risks; but I've been burned on ebay a few too many times, I guess... With the Mint & CP, returns are easy. With ebay, not so easy & costly if you have to pay the ship.

Hey, I've got a special wrapped roll with a 2013 penny in it? You interested? Just don't unwrap it, the value will go down.

Just received my roll today - #19,744. In the words of Maxwell Smart, "Missed it by that much!"

I checked mine last night.... not too many notables, but I do have #201 and I have about 10 with COA's under #1,000. I also have #1912, 1913, and 1914 which would match up perfectly for someone who bought the 1912-14 gold coins. There were some others, but nothing supper notable IMO.
