I just sent in a design for the CCF medal. My haiku are better than my design skills. Yea! They came in today! That was quick! Anyways thank you very much there beautiful! This is going to be kind of a long post.. I can't resist, I took photos of handing my daughter the two dollars and her reaction is funny, I'll do it like a story board... Lol. This is what happened as I handed them to her, comment above pic is the one that goes with it. Sorry... I thought it was too cute...  she obviously can't talk yet.. But this is what it looks like she's saying.. Me- "here sweetheart."  Her- "hey, what are these?"  Her- "let me get a closer look..."  Her- "O my god dad!! Do you see what these are?!!"  Her- "YES!!  Her- "my favorite flavor!!"  Her- "hehe, just kidding, I don't wanna eat um..."  Her- "Thank you soooooo much! I love them, there my favorite!"  Lol, too cute! I hope that brought a smile to everyones face! But anyways.. A HUGE thank you from me as well! What a fun contest! |

Very nice! I think you have a new collector in the family! It was a great contest put on by ThisisFun, I think everyone enjoyed a change of pace with the Haiku contest.

Nathan - its a wonder how a cute little one can make so many people smile! Enjoy her as much as you can at this age. "Yesterday" mine was this old, I blinked my eyes, and she is now 16 (but still wonderful).

Thanks everyone for the kind words, and I'm glad she brought a smile to your faces, god knows she brings a smile to my face every day! I consider myself lucky in the fact that I'm an at home dad, so I get to spend all my time with her, I wouldnt change it for the world... especially since this time with her is irreplacable, she's growing up so fast!
And wow, you arnt kidding.. Everyone says how fast life goes once you have kids but wow... Your absolutly right, you blink and a year is gone! It literally just feels like yesterday when we were leaving the hospital, she couldn't even roll over, tiny in my arms.. and now she's 14 months old starting to talk and running all over the place... Just crazy!
And thanks again ThisIsFun, the coins have a home in my binder now, what a great contest this was! It was an excellant idea on your part!
