People might pay a premium for a roll of uncirculated bicentennial half dollars, but if you just plan on getting enough from circulation to make a full roll, then I doubt you would get much of a premium

No problem. I will excuse it. Your mind may be preoccupied with Eisenhower dollars. That is a good thing, in my opinion.

A friend of mine had an antique mall space and I used to sell Bicentennial halves out of it for $1.00. Of course, they were in terriffic shape, but still, all the people who bought them had to do was go to the bank and find them in rolls, just like I did. They flew off the shelf. I never understood it.

And that's just the thing, there's always going to be someone out there willing to buy them. Some profit is better than none right.

Can you post some pics of the DDO so we can see what condition it is in?

I'll try to get some pics up soon; but for the moment, I'm sure that it is at least EF, maybe low AU.

You might want to post your DDO in the grading section to get an idea of what it might grade. Then compare the results with the sold ones items on ebay.

Hmm... prices seem to be all over the place for DDOs. I guess the average would be in the $20-$30 range.
