Not to sound rude or anything, but if you think its a "waste of time", why do you spend your time commenting that its a waste of time. Oopps, looks like I just wasted my time.

(sorry, couldn't help it )

*sigh*

This is the same seller who keeps running ads about a stash of treasure found in the back of a grandfather clock in a hidden room of an old house:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/GREAT-NORTH...em589d5761e4

Except... all the stuff appears to be brand-new junk and the picture of the clock with the visible stash is obviously Photoshopped. At least he now seems to be including the "collectible" box, whereas before he always said "cigar box not included." Of course, there's no way to tell just how authentic or "collectible" the box is, and he's charging $8.50 shipping (which would probably cover all costs even if the auction only ends at $0.01).

The guys has tons of negative feedback, but he runs so many auctions it gets totally buried. 99.5% positive sounds nice until you realize that it includes 20 negatives (and 25 neutrals) just in the last month alone.

Sure, everybody loves a good story, but lying about where stuff comes from in order to make it seem a better deal certainly seems beyond the pale to me (if not a case of outright fraud).

Those photoshopped pictures made me giggle a little. I can't believe some people actually fall for that.

"I see a seemingly endless number of these unsearched enders with all kinds of coins on the end. How are there so many rolls like this? Did people back then roll these coins very poorly and not care about the fact that there are at least 18 cents in losses on the 50 cent roll? I mean, if you look retrospectively that 18 cents is worth about 3 dollars in todays money."

"Why don't you check to see if there are rare coins so you could sell them for more?"

"Cause I lost my job last week so I'm trying to sell them as is. I've not got time to go through all the rolls."

No job and no time

Because it's fun. And I want to. And because. And for the whales.
