When the first came out I was lucky to get 12 of them with my regular W order from the Mint and had them graded by NGC...I then bought 6 more MS69's for between $169-189 each.

The 70's sold for around $400 for a year or so and have been rising since. I also have one up for sale (ending Sunday) if you want to see what the present real price is for this coin ( ebay link above)

I do love the multi-holders and this is one of my favorites. It includes a bullion, W, W with 07 reverse, and a PF:

Just click on his name, it will bring you to his profile page which has a link to his ebay acct.

YUou have some great key coins there Foxwoods Man, wish ity wasn't my slow work season. Hope you are keeping some and not just funding your retirement

$800.00 is what I have seen these going for, Even was at an exuberant auction, where an MS70 went for $1000 , Hope this one does well.

I am looking for one of those "REV of 07" for my ASE Type for my 7070.

I am not greedy...I just want the "REV of 07".

Neat tool with this forum is right above the post (where it says "posted 1 hour 10min ago" there are a bunch of tools (edit post etc.). If a member has linked their ebay account there will also be a multicolored " ebay" icon.

Click on it and... voila!

I see quite a few for members replying to this post....

The link in the OP doesn't work for me. Can someone explain what "Rev of 07" means? My ignorance is showing here, but I interpret that as the 2007 ASE reverse was mistakenly reused on the 2008 ASE issue for a limited number of presses. However, the two reverses look the same to me.

The OP's topic reminded me of a posting on this forum about 25 or so coins that collectors would or should be saving. I went looking for the posting by I can't seem to find the right set of parameters to locate the thread. Does anybody have a link to this mysterty thread of mine.

Thanks...................

You are right the reverse of the 2007 was used on about 47.000 2008 eagles , compare the you in United States on the back of the coins and you will see the difference.

Prior to 2008 the "U" had no serif at the bottom, post 2008 a serif was added.

No! Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Regardless, if you are happy, then I am happy.

Jbuck with the Yoda reference, YES! LOL

Personally I would have gone for the 09S only because that is the last I need to finish of my IHP set. But that rev of 7 IS on my list. And that is a nice example sir.

I don't know how to do this without it looking like I'm pimping my own auction but....I am really impressed with the bidding...still with a day to go:

Foxwoods Man, nothing wrong with blowing your own horn.

You made some real good calls a few years back and now you're reaping the benefits.

I must admit though, that's about $200 more than I thought, hope you get a bidding war at the end.
