Looks like Sir Wilf got a haircut.
And the railway on Sir John A's $10 is fitting.

I will miss the hockey game $5 note... but I do LOVE the $10 train note, with the Front Range Rocky mountains in the background...

Completely agree SPP. The ten looks great but I prefer the 'old' five too.
I like the nose of the train positioned opposite the equally predominant nose of Sir JAM.

I don't like the faces on them. They look like a bad Photoshop job. But the images look great. I definitely want one in mint condition.

I've always been pretty into astronomy and the space sciences so I love the new $5... but all the stars are just the same image repeated... I can't unsee that now...
And the train note's spectacular. I might actually have to buy a nice set of polymers one day.

They look better than I thought they would. Laurier looks soooo much different. The stars: They could've been more accurate with the stars, for sure. There are 10^10000000000000 more stars than that out there. Or more. They look alright. Although, when criminals finally get the polymer down these two notes will be super-easy to copy compared to the fifty. Lots of dead space.

LOVE the new $10 note. The $5 is decent, I like how deep the colors are. I will try very hard to get my hands on some UNC $10 notes once they are released, they look incredible!! haha love it

The train on the 10$ is Usually seen in Jasper, Alberta where the scene on the bill appears to be a bit easterly of Jasper
The cool thing is I've seen this train many times before stopped at the train station :)

Quote: I like how deep the colors are. I do as well, but usually the colours of the actual notes in production are a little more subdued or faded than the specimen pictures on the website.

The $5 is nice but I really love the $10. And no matter what happens with these there always seems to be people who complain about them. I have lost count of all of the crazy stuff I have seen in the news about them. (Melting in the heat, the maple leaf "isn't the right one"...etc)

I think Laurier looks good in blue! Did he found the Canadian space agency? lol
Sir John A has a Bieber-ish haircut, very fitting having a train with him though
Overall new bills look better than expected!

Personally, I love everything about the series. I think they are the nicest notes we released since the 1954 series.
I currently rank them as follows: $50: 10/10 $100: 8/10 $20: 9/10 $10: 10/10 $5: 9/10

Here are a couple of actual Laurier pics - The first is more like the classic portrait we are used to seeing; the second is more like the polymer five with his hair a little more under control!
