Yes a tall 9. What makes you think yours may be fake? Can you post a pic of the whole coin? Yes it's bitter sweet to discover a variety when it's this year, especially if becomes a recognized variety (an expensive hole to fill)

The only dimes I'm missing are: 1969 large date 1936 dot ( Maybe in twenty years lol) 2000p and possibly a second 1889.

Other than it being ungraded, nothing in particular. Just paranoid :-)

The Chinese fakes of 1889 usually have 21 leaves.

Hopefully samsnate you'll be able to cross that 1913 broad off your list ending soon.

Ive added 5 dimes to my album recently to get me the numbers I posted earlier in the thread. I'm just so excited when I see so few holes If I managed to sell my Engelhard, I would take a run at that 1889 Canada dime on ebay right now.

I've left work to fish for 3 months. Budget with zero income gets a little tight.

I just bought a Gardmaster ten cents album on ebay and can't wait to begin filling it up. I have 31 pieces to get it started. Some of the tougher holes will go unfilled only because I wouldn't trust the authenticity of some of the rarer dates such as 1889 or the 1993 Round Top 3.

Sold my Engelhard...so now I think if I can sell another $300 in bullion, I may be able to take one shot at the 1889. Don't bid against me guys! Just got to figure what to sell and how to do it by Monday night. Would be pretty cool to grab it. The only snag is that it is a graded coin which means I cant put it in my book. I think I would not put it in. Maybe put something else in its place and keep the dime in the safe. Would be a shame to take it out of a sealed flip...but also a shame not to see it in the book. Oh decisions. In a perfect case scenario I guess I could bid my max amount if I had someone willing to buy from me at a set price if I won the auction and if I didn't win the auction then I wouldn't have to sell it. One can only dream about so many great things at once

Hi everyone, I am not a huge fan of 10 cents, but I like errors like major rotated die, or upset die. I bought this one on ebay few years ago. I think this is one that you guys were talking about.. the 1968 coinage ( I think so). Any idea of the value ? Thanks ! Alex
