There are some really big US Cud errors out there...

Beautiful 1965 Roosevelt dime here: http://www.kaginsinc.com/coins/?p=219

Mike Diamond wrote on a massive Cud on a US cent last year in Coin World : http://www.coinworld.com/insights/D...ingular.html
"Discovery follows discovery, each both raising and answering questions, each ending a long search, and each providing the new instruments for a new search." -- J. Robert Oppenheimer

Some great Cuds everyone. I really like the heavy rim Cuds.

I will try to dig out some old pics of NZ$1 Cuds that I sold for very high prices about 3-4 years ago. (Unfortunately the selling prices have dropped substantially since then).

In the meantime here's a couple of NZ 5c coins which I will also sell at some point. (They were on another thread somewhere on CC).

I have sold that one - will have to check if a have a record of the sale/date. Definitely 2012 or earlier.

Edit
Cant find the sale record, but the original photo was taken in Oct 2009. So 2009 or earlier is the nearest I can get.

I think that qualifies. The error terminology is still somewhat confusing me.

Got the coin as change just now :)

EDIT, few minutes later. Not sure what's going on with her face though. Weak strike or wear. I'd say the latter, but I'm not sure.

Thought I'd give this thread a "bump". Let's see some more Cuds, not die chips, on world coins.
This is a nice major die break " Cud" on a 2015 1 Rupee from India KM# 394 listed as CU-1R(IN)-2015-03 on Cuds-on-Coins http://cuds-on-coins.com/cuds-on-fo...i-through-p/
