All the best at the RCNA. Windsor was the last one I was able to get to.

I managed to go for a total of 3 hours ... Yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.

Some things I have learned as this was the first RCNA show I have ever been to. #1 Don't take a toddler.. that was just more work than I cared for, and I really didn't get the opportunity to look at certain items as much as I wanted...

#2 have a list of items you're looking for. There was absolutely everything under the sun at the bourse and I wish I would've narrowed down my focus to a few coins.

All in all though I had a fantastic time, I managed to meet some really interesting individuals and made some really good contacts.

Cheers to all that went

Anyone "attend" the final session of the auction online last night (or in person)? Nice to see there's still money in some pockets!

To those who have attended the show, is there a wide selection of NFLD material? I've often wondered how the availability differs outside Ontario.

chequer: My aunt was BORN in Winnipeg. She lived there for three days. She returned fifty years later, and then only stayed three days again. Wasn't impressed. Winnipeg happened to be deeply buried in snow second time around.

Nice find Zonad! Was the convention well attended? Were there as many dealer tables as at previous RCNA events?

Only 25 dealers, and the bourse was always big open spaces where I didn't have to elbow my way in. Some dealers had a good show and some only complained.

This was my first RCNA (or any big show for that fact)...The attendance was very small in my opinion and I was a bit disapointed to see that.

One dealer I talked to was a local I had never seen before and was hoping to turn a profit, unfortunately they mostly had RCM items and all I could do was wish them luck.

A second dealer I spoke with stated that with flight, the cost of hotel, food and paying wages for a second worker there was no way with the crowds we saw he thought he would turn a profit, but he was happy to be there all the same as it gave him more time to actually talk with people ... He told me that at the toronto show it was pretty much a frenzy and he never even had the chance to sit down for 5 1/2 hours.

Tough from the pics R. AU55 or 63/4. Again, images make it hard, but I see no wear on either Rev. Leg. So MS probable.

I am eagerly awaiting one item from the RCNA auction... I owe Zonad a beer, for bidding on it on my behalf...
