Yes it does suck. But it is what it is. I have already talked Sith ebay and they said that she is on the hook for the return shipping as well......because she stated in writing that she would. It doesn't matter that she changed her mind after she agreed to. She's not going to be happy once she finds this out....... |

I was trying to avoid naming any names (just to keep things profrssional), but the messages that I received clearly were anything but polite and/or professional. I would also hate for anybody in this community to have the same type of experience that I have had with this seller. Soooooo......the seller's handle is coingeekcanada. I would suggest to all that you stay away from her. the auction.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/23102173549..._4630wt_1139I'm starting to think that there may have been a far 6 but it was replaced with a near 6 because the auction sold for so little. middross, I feel sorry for the trouble you have been going through with this ebay seller... but, did you read her negative feedback before you purchased? Hope things work out for you. |

I didn't read her negative until after I had this bad experience. Seems she has pulled the old switcheroo before. ebay has been very heplfu in recovering my return shipping cost. It is now up to PayPal to get the claim taken care of. |

For all those who have trouble identifying the far or near just draw a straight line from the bottom of the 2 across to the rim.. You can clearly see the difference, this very very helpful when the tips of the 6 appear worn.. So when in doubt draw the line..... I know someone on the forum has that program to show it..Maybe they could do it for all to see

you got your self a winner for sure.... Just return the coins via Registered mail..Give the tracking # to paypal and ebay.. thats all there is to do..Your refund will be given as you have proof of shipping and once they sign proof of that also... NOt worth dealing with peeps like that |

PayPal has told me not to ship anything until I hear from them. So I am just going to sit tight for the time being.
I have also filed a report about this seller's harrasing messages, and was told that they will be in contact with said seller.
I'm sure that it will all work out in the end.
BTW. Should the 1926 varieties be renamed Fat 6 and thin 6? Oh wait, these are not varieties......they are errors, and no two are alike.

For a self professed "coin geek" they sure don't know very much about coins. As an example they seem to consistently refer to varieties (both common and uncommon) as errors.

Sorry for you experience with this seller but thanks for enlightening all of us about their customer service (or lack thereof!). I've just blocked him from selling to me on ebay. If you want to do this too in the advanced search options, you can go to the Seller menu option, and check the box that reads "Only show items from:". Then under "Specific sellers (enter seller's user IDs)" choose "Exclude" from the dropdown menu, then add the seller's user ID to the box, and click search. |

That doesn't really apply to me as I'm sure the seller has already blocked me. I hope that no ody here has to go through what I have with this seller.
