Quote: ***Please reply to this topic with your thoughts*** THANKS Since you asked for them. I hope you can handle the comments of someone who is not gonna and heap praise upon this crackshot crackpot idea. Because I find the whole concept from Aim to Zero to be one of the most idly twisted, tortured, ridiculous and abhorrent ideas as a way to raise cash that I have ever seen. Sorry but someone had to say it. Maybe I'm just an albino crow. You might have included an anonymous poll, with 'oh how cool' and 'totally obnoxious idea' as the main choices, to get a better measure of the pulse of your future prosperity or lack thereof if you dump this out onto the vast marketplace for quirky trinkets. Anyone else who feels this is sicker than a case of malaria, please stand up and shout. It just reminds me of all the senseless conflict going on in the world involving guns and ammunition, and the terrible impact all that violence has on children and cultures. It is my purely personal wish not to have to see evidence of an overwrought gun culture in a coin forum. There is nothing inventive or creative in this endeavor. Humans have been blasting coins and just about everything else with their shooting irons since gunpowder was invented. Annie Oakley gave the act whimsy and style. This misses by a country mile. OK mods, fire away

Quote: I am also curious; what would YOU be willing to pay for a "Veloci-Change" coin similar to one of the coins pictured (but of course every one is different)if it came packaged in a plastic flip with a mini-COA signed and with details? It could just be me, but I actually find the bullet that has taken on the design of the coin to be the coolest part about it

Good thinking and very creative name.. Lol, but unfortionitly your far from the first person to shoot a coin... Quote: I am also curious; what would YOU be willing to pay for a "Veloci-Change" coin similar to one of the coins pictured (but of course every one is different)if it came packaged in a plastic flip with a mini-COA signed and with details? Please let me know and, I would be happy to take orders. Honestly nothing.. I could just pick a coin I wanted... Step out my back door and and pull the trigger... I don't think you'd have a good clientele from the US. As a gun loving country, like myself most people could just choose not only what coin, but from an array of calibers and varying yardage for different effect, step outside and do it themselves for free. And if there one of the minority of the population that doesn't own (at least) one firearm I'm sure they know someone who does.. So again they could not only pick the coin and caliber but get it for free at that.. If one of the (few) people I know who doesn't own a gun came up to me and said "I bet you can't hit this dime at 100 yards" you can bet he'd be leaving with a assassianated president and I'm sure most would eat into the challenge, even knowing there friend was playing them.. Lol. There was a company a while back that tried selling, common bullet riddled clothes, tee shirts and such. But again it diddnt do well as most people could do it theirselves, and put the holes where they want. There may be an interest in them from firearm restricted countries.. But then again people for those countries probably have little interest in anything related to firearms.

Sort of cool You got me curious .... Have you tried to shoot into the edge of a coin? A little harder to hit ....but might have a cool look. But it does remind me .... When I was about 10 ... I got a new CO2 BB pistol... At one point I put a dime on our back porch ...stood back about 10 feet ...hit the dime wight in the middle ....but the BB came back and hit me in the forehead ....for me that was a lesson to not shoot coins ....

Cool! New hobby! If there's a market for used undies, well, people will buy anything.
Just think, a walking liberty enfiladed with a Mauser bullet that fell out of a family members old uniform.
The only limitation is your ability to sleep at night....

Other than some health and safety issues with your manufacturing process, I think your art is pretty cool. Not everyone lives in a country where guns are accessible to all.

Texas style is to toss them up and then shoot them out of the air.
