I have to say I completely agree, it doesn't really make sense but I wanted to make sure before I put the coin for sale on ebay. I also have 2 other $20 coins from 2011 with the lady bug and tulip. Can you guys inform me where I post if I want to sell these? I am evaluating these at $1000 is that correct?

You're selling 2 for 1025$? Listing is confusing. Mentions 'boxes' (plural) and 'CAN BE SOLD SEPARATELY' but then references 'coin' (singular). And pictures of two coins. You'd be giving them away at $512.50 each.

If you just have 2 in total and you receive 1 bid in each auction, you will be in trouble.

$150 could be too much. Maybe you could receive best offer at least.

Quote: Can you guys inform me where I post if I want to sell these? Hello and welcome to the forum. ebay would be your best choice as it will not happen here anytime in the near future. If you would like to actually be a participating member here and contribute to the forum, then eventually you will access to buy/see/trade on here. However, it is a privilege here to do so and it takes a bit of time and effort. I have removed your links to your items. Ask all the questions you want about your items and folks here will help. Will will not be a free advertisement to your ebay ventures though.

I think asking 1/2 times the cost of the coin is reasomable. Granted the coin is not as popular as the gold. But asking ten times the cost of a coin may be a little to much.

I apologize honestly about the advertising of links, I am very very new to this and just wanted to make sure I was doing it right! Its hard to get in to coin collecting. :)
You have some great members though!

No worries pach and I apologize if I sounded "blunt" with my post. The best way to determine pricing when selling on ebay is simply to do an advanced search to see what items like yours have sold for recently. This will at least tell you what the market thinks of your items and what folks are willing to pay. It is always up to the seller to set the price of course, but the market itself sets the price usually. I have always been a fan of starting an auction at $.99 and running it with no reserve. bids get bids. You may sometimes take a bit of a hit on an item, but typically you will get the true value if not more when folks get auction fever. Having said that, if you're new to collecting, you've come to the right place. Stick around a while and learn from the members and you are sure to increase your coin knowledge exponentially.
