Yes it is correct! Only originals have the UPC labels to protect mintage numbers!
But you can use that label for the replacement sleeve.

But the mintage is related to the COA .... not to the sleeve I think.

The label is like glued, how can I move it...

You are correct arianzo!

The mintage is related to the COA, but the sleeves also carry a barcode with description label on them.

The mint will send you another sleeve but it won't have the label because labels are produced according to mintage!

If you use a sharp utility knife and very carefully lift the one corner of the label it will come up enough for you to carefully peel off and place on your new sleeve.

Just do it slowly and carefully!

It's from an official RCM dealer.

Do you care to say which dealer? I never had a problem with the Mint or the Post Office but had problems with other dealers with dinged corners. Plus I hate the newspaper wrapping some of them use.

As for mint condition of the sleeve, it is very important for me. Everything must be in pristine condition or I would be very upset.

You often see older sets at coin shows and the boxes and sleeves look very battered and raggedy.

I agree MoneyPenney, I just hate it when the packaging isn't up to snuff! That is a big chunk of the overall value IMO.

Yes, but he did not buy it from the Mint. He bought it from a dealer. He would probably have to send the whole set back to the dealer. The dealer is unlikely to replace only the sleeve.
Then you have the cost of shipping it back.

Just to clarify! I meant going through the dealer, he could get one! Sometimes the dealer may put in a request for there customer to get one sent direct to the customer as a customer service gesture!

Well, my dealer confirmed my sleeve replacement is on the way !
He hasn't asked me to send nothing back until now.
