If you are able to post a picture that would really help. Not all AG V nics are equal and doubly so with environmental damage. Environmental damage can really impact eye appeal so it is very difficult to give a range.

I already bought it cause it was the last 5 cent nickel I needed now I have every shield, v, buffalo with three leg, and Jefferson till now. Ill tell you what I paid after I here some replies on max you would pay.

ive only been collecting for about 4 months now and I've managed to get every Lincoln Cent made with exception of 1943 steel 1943 copper and 1955 double. got three more Half Cents to get too. My goal is to get every us coin ever made and then upgrade coins as I go. Its gonna take a while lol |

It looks not to be too bad, I would probably want to pay Fair02 money for it, (in the $125 range). Quote:

on coin tracker is says in very poor condition its worth a min of 607.00 on another site it says in good condition its worth 395 had to tell ya know.

Online priceguides are for the most part, inaccurate.
To get a real feel of what coins are selling for, check past auction results like Heritage.
AG details coins like yours, are selling from $90-125.

First, congratulations on the accomplishment!
Personally wouldn't buy it. $100 or so is what I would have said. My advice would be to slow your roll and tweek the quality up a little bit and you will be happier in the long run. If you are a true collector, you will never be "finished" anyway. There will not be a day when I buy a coin and say "ok, I'm done". There is no hurry!
What does your 1880 Shield look like?

It almost looks like the NGC "environmental damage" notation is due to a deliberate chemical date restoration and not due to being left out in the woods for a hundred years. My guess is it was originally a dateless coin from wear and it got a full restoration. If it helps fill a hole in your album at a price you like is all that matters. Kool pick up!

"My goal is to get every us coin ever made and then upgrade coins as I go."I guess that's possible if you are a multi-millionaire several times over. Take your time and learn what you are buying. You can lose a lot of money in this hobby if you don't know what you're doing.
