That set is super! Once I obtain my 09 s and 09 svdb, I think that set might be my next one.
REALLY awesome set, Jon. Congrats! You were obviously discerning in what you wanted, and patient, and it really shows.

Very nice. I can tell it took a lot of time, money and effort to accomplish. Makes you wonder who can afford those top ranked sets?
I did the Dansco album a few years back. If I remember correctly the Dansco album went all the way to 1998 (state series started 1999), and included proof issues. It was a lot of fun to assemble.

Congratulations! I'm only four years into my own quest. Your Sub MS key dates are great looking coins. same stage I'm at now. Beautiful.

Ya, those '32s could be twin sisters. Thanks everyone for the kind words. USC96, that is some of what I was ranting about. Those top sets. I deleted it after the tequila wore off. Ow my head . . . .

First off congrats I am starting a BU set of Washington quarters from 32-98. Do you have any tips you can share with me about completing this set.

Wow Jon K I need to pull out my set and compare it to yours. Nice 32-D and 32-S. Of the two I like the contrast in the fields on the 32-D.

Quote: Do you have any tips you can share with me about completing this set. Marry an understanding woman. Listen to Superdave. Don't buy raw stuff off of ebay it is ALL cleaned (there might be exceptions!). Set realistic goals, as has been mentioned the guys that build the high end sets must be bazillionaires. Have fun!! Jon

VERY nice set. Of interest, your experience with semi keys and common...is the SAME with Lincoln cents and I suspect other series as well.
Of interest, I clicked on the obverse photo of the 1937 P - is that a die chip for an eyebrow? If so, THAT adds a cool factor to that coin.
IMPRESSIVE set. VERY impressive.
Agree with your wisdom of raw versus slabbed. Unfortunate, but true.
