Not to mention that hair could eventually change the coins color where it is, especially if there is any hair product oils or gels on it. They should do this for free and even pick up shipping IMO.

Don't wait for an email, which can be slow, call them!
Have them take the TruView image of it as well, it's only $10, or upgrade it to Secure Plus, which includes the TruView Image.
BTW, great Lincoln!

"Waiter, there is a fly in my soup", "Don't worry, he won't eat much". Wait a minute, wrong joke. Never mind.

Nice coin.
Unfortunate accident.
I would try to get it back to them as soon as possible before any oils from the hair affect the surfaces of the coin.

They will reholder it, probably for free, but you will still be stuck for the postage and insurance both ways. You might want to wait a bit before sending it to them as well because right now they are probably being inundated with monster boxes of ASE's to grade.

To deter counterfeiting, every slab now contains the DNA of the grader.

So does PCGS reslab for free when they encapsulate hair? Does that only apply to the person who submitted the coin or to the current owner if the coin is sold? What about dandruff? I have a PCGS slab that I recently purchased that includes what looks like a large flake of dandruff that is turning green (a MS63 Penny) and I assume it is leeching copper.
