Another Serial #1 $20 note from this same bank - C000001, in 66PPQ, went for $2000 at Heritage in 2009. That should be all you need to know.

I hope all of us don't put it on our watch lists or he might think there's some real interest and put it up for auction

It could be a hijacked account, or he could just be really mad for the reasons mentioned above. If you look at his completed listings, it doesn't appear he has a history of this really.

After this thread he would have 3 times of watchers lol.
Now, I tried to report the item and you have 3 options to choose and then like 30 categories... well the fact is that I didn't find anything related with the way the sellers spells or attitude, all is related to the product.

In another listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Now-we-see-...161197077021Question & Answer Q: You crack me up 13-Jan-14 A: Glad to see you have laiughter in your heart. But I am sick and tired of these guys taking and not giving back. There are only 6 known in the census. So why not go for it. And I did forget that the person who makes the purchase will get a cashiers check for 10% to donate to their favorite charityAll they have to do is buy it, the get's transfered in a timely manner and they get a casheirs check and a nice tax right off as well.So while you may think that this maybe expensive; the extra tax write off for charity is a bonus as well.

Instead of focusing on sellers that say "positive feedback will be left only after positive feedback has been received" ebay should be going after this seller and others like him. What happens if the so called cashier's check for 10% turns out to be fake? I doubt there's any ebay protection for that sort of thing. -MV

For a note like that, why doesn't this seller use someplace like Heritage?

Because, as Dave pointed out, that one or one like like already sold on Heritage for $2000. He needs to find some sucker on ebay.

"Because, as Dave pointed out..." That's what I get for skimming the thread--caveat empor!

I kinda get a kick out of his WWF Smack Down style of composition, but the reality of it boils down to what SsuperDave stated. He is just fishing for a guppy. And making himself look foolish simultaneously.

Fortunately, few guppies have $25k to drop on a single note. And those who do are usually looking to get taken to the cleaners over gold coins, not paper.
I think these are the seller's genuine feelings, though they're probably the result of his absolute ignorance of how things acquire value. Just because it's the only one on Earth means little if nobody wants it.
