They're nice coins, but you can't leave them in their folders. What do you do with them?

Try to search the forum, you'll see that people find some following solutions:

RCM Wooden Box for 2013 O Canada 1/2oz coins - 12 holes
RCM Presentation case for Gold Coins - exact fit - 10 holes
One collector did by himself very nice wooden case

The coin looks nice in its own holder in separate, but all them (coins) together in the holders reminds collection of paper pieces.

Why do you take them out of the capsules?

The last capsule I opened, because there was something blurry and I wanted to know if it was the coin or just the capsule.

Hey Tender4848, where did you get your case for the 20 for 20s? It looks great! Do the capsules fit snug in that display case?

Tender4848 - nice triple collection.

What I understand - sometimes the best way will be not to waist time and money in the search after box with round holes, that will fit the RCM capsules, but just to select proper wooden Lighthouse Volterra box with square cells, and the presentation will be great.

@Lithanial

Coefficient of Linear thermal expansion of silver is about 19.5 x 10-6 m/m k which is between 2 to 5x less than plastics.

So the trick is to apply some heat (keep it below the melting point of plastic!! 70C is safe) and the coin with come out.

I just got the Goose in last week and it came out no problem. So the latest four have come out easily. I am going to say it is related to aging and sticking to their capsules. I am going to try some thermal cycles later this week. Including St. George and the Dragon, I now have 5 $20 for $20's in Quadrum's. I hope to get them all in there without damaging anything.

Thank you, Bachelor!!
Good info.

Just looks like many collectors (counting myself) bit tired of this series....no, might be not tired, but 35 slots?
Recently RCM went here and there from original Canadiana. Do not recall interesting 20for20 after "The goose".

But the box still looks good.
