I found it buried in my Dad's old army trunk...must have been in there since we moved here over 30 years ago....what a treat that was finding it...was wondering where my 1936 dot penny went to....haha

There are a few pennies with toning.

I have a 1961 half dollar with flawless surfaces and a 100% complete strike with all 7 laurel leaves.
It has such spectacular and amazing tones, I've been trying to capture the tones in it with my camera but have failed each time.
It has gold,blue,violet...etc.,truly amazing.

For the past couple of days I've been putting my pennies together making up date sets from 1900 - 2012...

I look forward to putting these away and will love to have the same feeling you have right now after so many years being reunited...

Ohh song in my head... reunited and it feels so good....

You think that is a good story..here is the opposite...most of my coins were handed down from my Dad..years ago I asked my Dad if I could show my friend his coin collection..two weeks later my Dad told me his 1926 far 6 nickel was missing...guess you know what happened...still got the 1926 near and the 1925 nickel...but..never trust a friend I quess...

Oh yeah here's one for ya!
I was saving up for a coin show 2 years ago, I was able to save up roughly $800 I had it sitting out in an old envelope from christmas cause it hadnt reached the safe yet. I than had some friends over the next day. The day after that I needed to borrow some money from the envelope and it was gone!

But than I found it in the garbage bin.it turns out it was mistaken by one of us for a price of garbage.
Ha!tricked you, happy ending:-)
